Free nature activities, good news stories, and tips on managing your wellbeing.

Hi ,

You are tireless  - thank you for reaching out, making donations and volunteering despite the tectonic shifts of 2020. What does meaningful action look like, when schools are locked down, gatherings are limited and research labs locked up? It looks like free EcoCentre seminars, summits and 'snorkelling' online... it also looks like our network of citizen scientists in backyards, balconies and local streets contributing so many urban fauna photos we verified 21 species never previously recorded locally! Every day, we learn more and achieve more together.

Here is our next powerful action: help save EcoCentre funding before 17 July with a quick submission to the Port Phillip Budget Process. Join a chorus of voices valuing the environment by clicking here, scroll down to choose 'Type My Submission' and add your variation of this example text:

  • Thank you for supporting the EcoCentre and their essential education, research and volunteering programs, especially in a world experiencing climate change. The EcoCentre is important to me because [write 1-2 sentences on your connection with the EcoCentre and our programs]. Please continue to prioritise the EcoCentre programs and redevelopment in this and future budgets.

Big thinking about the planet

Contact me with any questions, and hope to see you online or while walking soon. I'm the one with her face in the flowers checking if there is another insect to discover.

Our planet still needs our care. We're still doing what needs to be done!
