Summer by the Sea - Citizen scientist shell safari & microplastics survey

Become a marine citizen scientist for a day and help the Port Phillip Baykeeper collect data that contribute to healthier waterways and habitats for our unique biodiversity.

#BeABaykeeper citizen scientest with our Port Phillip Baykeeper!

We will collect shells on the beach and identify them to learn about the important role of molluscs (shellfish) in the Bay ecosystem. The microplastics survey will help us gather data to guide targeted plastic pollution prevention.
This event is suitable for children above 6 years old. Children under 16 years of age must be supervised by an accompanying adult.

Register online on Summer By the Sea, a summer holiday program by Coastcare Victoria.
