St Kilda Repair Cafe (online)

Registration is closed for this event
Sunday 12th July, from 2:00 - 3:00pm via Zoom link

Something broken, torn, or won't work? Before you throw it away, get free advice, it may be repairable.

The St Kilda Repair Cafe online session on Sunday 12th July might not only save you money, but you will do something to help save the planet. Join our skilled volunteers between 2.00 - 3.00pm on on the day to have your problem-item diagnosed and perhaps, even fixed.

How will this event operate?

All you need to do now is register and let us know about your item/s needing repair. We will then allocate a time for you to Zoom in between 2.00pm and 3.00pm on the day, and send you a link to join in. Please note we may not be able to assist with electrics repairs for safety reasons.

What can I have virtual help to repair?

  • Computer problems (software issues) / General IT
  • Bikes
  • Furniture
  • Sewing/textiles
  • Footwear
  • Jewellery

We always need volunteer fixers, and a range of vollies!

  • If you love to tinker and could bring your toolbox, email the organisers here.
  • If you could help with registration, photographing, coordination or promotion... Please email the organisers here.

This project is coordinated in partnership by the Jewish Ecological Coalition and the EcoCentre.
