Enjoy a 4.6km walk while you learn about Earth's 4.6 billion year history

Tamara is a local resident with a background in Health Psychology. Having learnt about the concept from Debby Badger, Tamara has taken on the role of facilitator for Port Phillip's own Deep Time Walks.

Beginning on North Road Brighton, and meeting Point Ormond at the halfway mark, this walk will encourage deep ecological awareness for the participant, with a focus on connecting to the Earth through understanding. Each step on the 4.6km walk represents a moment in Earth's time. Learn about our Indigenous connections, our Earth's history, and our impact as humans.

The EcoCentre acknowledges the Kulin Nations, including the Yalukut Weelam clan of the Boon Wurrung language group, traditional owners of the land on which we are located.

We pay respects to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Elder members of our multicultural community.
