Free Teachers' Professional Development: Climate Change - Empowering Young People With Active Hope
Many young people are determined to have genuine and realistic conversations with adults about Climate Change. Their knowledge of the science of Climate Change may be limited, but their engagement with its consequences is substantial.
In turn our young people are feeling levels of anxiety and frustration and don't always know what to do about these feelings. This workshop will facilitate some understanding of how educators might incorporate perspectives on the topic and empower their students to take action.
This workshop will be delievered through Zoom.
The EcoCentre acknowledges the Kulin Nations, including the Yalukut Weelam clan of the Boon Wurrung language group, traditional owners of the land on which we are located. We pay respects to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Elder members of our multicultural community.
