Our Response to COVID-19: Online Workshops and Presentations

We’re keeping our volunteers, staff, educators, students, and broader community safe.

The EcoCentre is adapting our programs based on expert public health advice. Until further notice, the EcoCentre will be connecting you to nature online.

We're launching a series of Thursday 6pm workshops and presentations.

Curious about home compost? Thought up a great tip for being actively green during quarantine? To help our staff work flexibly, chatting to us by email is best:

If you’re self-isolating, take care of your mental health and wellbeing by remaining connected to nature. Try and find time to sit in your garden or on your balcony, or do some mindfulness activities from home. Just remember to maintain recommended social distance of 1.5m. Stay green during quarantine!

Information and advice on Coronavirus (COVID-19) is constantly changing and updated here. If you are concerned, please contact the Department of Health and Human Services Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 675 398.

Our planet still needs our care. We're still doing what needs to be done!

The EcoCentre acknowledges the Kulin Nations, including the Yalukit Willam clan of the Boon Wurrung language group, traditional custodians of the land on which we are located.

We pay respects to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to other First Nations and Elder members of our multicultural community.
