Teachers' Environment Network (TEN)


Free professional learning events each term for teachers to network, share resources and connect to the local environment. Join 170 local educators who exchange expertise and enjoy a delicious afternoon tea.

Topic: Waste - David Cocks from MRA consulting will be presenting information about the current state of recycling given that China is now not receiving and processing any of our recyclables. This will be an important presentation, updating our knowledge about the business of recycling and a good opportunity to ask the burning questions regarding the future of how we dispose of our Recyclables and general Waste. Location: Albert Park Primary School, Bridport St Albert Park
Time: 3.45pm - 5.15pm
Topic: Biodiversity - Benefits of establishing a school garden, what to plant and how to use the garden to enrich curriculum and how to improve biodiversity habitat on your school grounds.
We shall explore: Edible plants, good yield plants for school calendar, propagation and germination and links to science and school yard biodiversity, bat tubes and nestboxes.
